Walking around San Francisco, Part 2
Just north of Union Square, Stockton St becomes a tunnel.
After walking over two blocks through the tunnel, I’m in Chinatown. Here, I’m looking east on California St. Notice the decline I’m shooting at – it’s all well and good when walking downhill, not so much the other way.

How steep are some of these hills? Steep enough that you need signs to remind you to set the parking brake.
