Braves Spring Training, Part 3
This final set of photos from Braves spring training takes a look at the crowd and at some of the marquee (in my mind) players. As you can tell from this first shot, taken while looking to the left of my seat, it’s remarkably packed for a Thursday afternoon game.

Hey, it’s Endy Chavez! It broke my heart that he was traded this past off-season but he’ll forever be remembered for his catch in game seven of the 2006 NLCS. It’s a catch that’s been immortalized at Citi Field.


Former Yankee Bobby Abreu comes up to bat.

The Venezuelan fans were awesome – they had flags and, at one point, were banging on a drum.

The only way to see the Mets’ big off-season acquisition Francisco Rodriguez during this spring training trip was when he took the mound for a dominant inning in this game.
