Where I Went – Boston

I went up to Boston a few weeks back to volunteer at Beer Advocate’s American Craft Beer Fest. Surprisingly, outside of the fest itself, there was little drinking that took place outside of where I stayed.

Here’s a rundown on the places we went to while in Boston.

  • Super 88: The $3.25 grilled pork bánh mì was good but it would have been better if it didn’t have a chunk of bone in it.
  • UBurger: It’s no Shake Shack but what is?
  • American Craft Beer Fest: Beer Advocate improves on last year’s ACBF and treats their volunteers very well.
  • Vinh Sun: A typical Chinese rice and noodle restaurant. The perfect place to go after having a few to drink at the beer fest.
  • Roadhouse BBQ: BA paid for their volunteers’ brunch. They treat volunteers very very well.
