Tour of AT&T Park, Part 1
In the Bay Area for a second time in three months but with more time in San Francisco this go-around, I took a morning off from WWDC and went on a tour of AT&T Park. This set of photos start in the lobby, passing by the KNBR offices, and making our way up to the View Level.

After arriving in Austin and ducking into my hotel room to drop off my bag (and to cool off from the oppressive heat), my first stop was at the Austin outpost of The Ginger Man chain. The Texas locations used to be affiliated with the ones on the east coast (same owners), including the one in Midtown New York, but the original owners sold off all their pubs outside of Texas. Still, once you walk in, you know where the NYC one got their look from.

This final set of photos from Braves spring training takes a look at the crowd and at some of the marquee (in my mind) players. As you can tell from this first shot, taken while looking to the left of my seat, it’s remarkably packed for a Thursday afternoon game.

After taking a few photos behind home plate, I started to make my way around Champions Stadium, getting a few shots of the field from the first base side and from right field. Also pictured is a busy Braves bullpen as they kept getting pitchers up and ready; after all, this is a spring training game.
Braves Spring Training, Part 1
Back in early March of this year, Aaron, Justin, and I went down to Florida for a few days to check out spring training. Aaron and I got there early in the afternoon, hours before Justin would arrive, got our rental car, and drove straight to Disney World to catch the Braves at their spring training home. They were hosting the Venezuelan World Baseball Classic team that afternoon.
