Where I Went – Washington, D.C.

After a day trip to Philadelphia, it was time to stretch it out for the longest possible day trip (via bus, anyway) to Washington, D.C.

Where I Went – Philadelphia

With plenty of free time and the help of $1 bus tickets each way to and from, I spent a couple of hours in Philadelphia last week; hours well spent eating, drinking, and sight seeing.

Where I Went – Chicago

When JetBlue got their millionth follower on Twitter, they offered a 20% discount on all flights if booked that same day. A quick glance at the Cubs schedule to see if they would be in town and the flights for a mid-week trip were booked moments later.

Favorite Albums of 2007

2007 was another good year for music. There were the old favorites such as the New Pornographers and Spoon putting out new albums. As always, new favorites (at least for me) emerged to leave an indelible impression on me, as well as the rest of my fellow like-minded music geeks. There were plenty to choose from but, ultimately, I was able to pare down a list of my favorite albums down to 10.
