Los Campesinos! :: We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed

Los Campesinos! released their debut album Hold on Now, Youngster… in early 2008 so it was an absolute surprise to find out that they had also released their follow-up the same year. It would be a stretch to say that this is an album of leftovers but We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed sounds so similar to, yet noticeably weaker than, their debut that it’s hard not to think it.
