Due to some intense personal shit (which you’ll know if you follow on Twitter or Facebook), we’re on an indefinite hiatus effective immediately. We’ll still be on Twitter so we’re not completely cut off from the world.

Yup, another weekend away from the desk. Have a good Memorial Day!

Taking a very nice loooonnng weekend, capped off with a trip to Boston. Hopefully, nothing newsworthy happens.

Yes, another weekend away from the blogging duties. We’ll try not to die too badly during the Five Boro Bike Tour but that Verrazano might do the job at the end.

Yeah, yeah, yet three-day weekend off and not putting up posts. We’re lazy. Still, if you live in New York City, have you been outside today? It’s gorgeous and that’s the way it’s gonna be all weekend so there’s no way in hell it’s gonna be spent in front of a computer.

An extremely lightweight dramedy that doesn’t really seem to go anywhere but is saved by excellent performances from Amy Adams and Emily Blunt.

Rating:  

Art Brut continues to have fun with their quasi-punk rock and culturally specific lyrics. Eddie Argos still doesn’t really do too much singing but, then, that’s what we’ve come to expect.

Rating:  

It’s different from their first two albums – less screaming and more poppy. It works. Also, anything that can preserve Karen Oh’s voice can’t be all that bad.

Taking some time off for Good Friday and Easter even though we don’t actually celebrate the holiday. We’ll continue to put up posts from our first look at Citi Field through the weekend as we get set for Opening Night at the new ballpark.

Off this weekend – multiple trips to Citi Field and prior commitments. We’ll be back up and running Monday morning.
