When you’re thinking of a name for a dive bar, “Hole in the Wall” seems rather apt. Their beer selection was a bit meh but their chorizo taco was really good.

With a few beers in me, it seemed like a good time to take a walk around The Ginger Man.
The Ginger Man – Austin, Part 1
After arriving in Austin and ducking into my hotel room to drop off my bag (and to cool off from the oppressive heat), my first stop was at the Austin outpost of The Ginger Man chain. The Texas locations used to be affiliated with the ones on the east coast (same owners), including the one in Midtown New York, but the original owners sold off all their pubs outside of Texas. Still, once you walk in, you know where the NYC one got their look from.
CB Six
And now, dear readers, a moment of silence for the dearly departed CB Six – a fine establishment for craft beer in midtown Manhattan that was dumb enough to lose their liquor license by serving minors.
Rogue Ales Public House
After stopping at a few bottle shops, we drove over to the Rogue Ales Public House off of Washington Square in San Francisco.
