¡Forward, Russia! made a trip to KEXP’s New York City home away from home at Gigantic Studios. These guys are really good – insanely good. Despite being confined to a radio station studio, they still managed to “explore the space” with manic and wild movements. They bantered well with the DJ with the best moment coming when the DJ brought up their tribute band, ¡Give Me A Tree!. Lead vocal Tom and guitarist Whiskas, realizing that the DJ did her research on Wikipedia, jokingly threatened to put up fake information on their Wikipedia entry in the hope that it would someday be referenced in a future interview with them – good times!
