Mets Clinch the NL East! Part 3
Rolling along to the photos of the division-clinching celebration – Jose Valentin catches the first out of the ninth inning.

Mets Clinch the NL East! Part 1
After sitting on a magic number of 1 for three nights, the Mets finally clinched the National League East on Monday night!

David Wright’s Major League Debut
I was there… on July 21, 2004 when David Wright made his major league debut for the Mets against the then-named Montreal Expos.

Mike Piazza returns to Shea Stadium
I love Mike Piazza. I was there at his first game in May 1998. I was there when he capped off a 10-run rally to beat the Braves 11-8 in July 2000. I was there when he played his last game as a Met last October.
I was there last night to welcome him back to Shea Stadium.
It’s weird to see him in anything but a Mets uniform. Sure, he was a Dodger for a long time before he became a Met but so much of his career was defined as a Met.
The fans eagerly wait for Mike to take his cuts in batting practice.

N-YHS Outing @ Shea Stadium
Back in May 2004, I organized a trip for a bunch of co-workers from N-YHS go to Shea Stadium to see the Mets and Giants.
Flushing in the distance.

Meet the Mets, beat the Mets
Thanks to a free ticket from Ivan, I attended the Mets-Cubs game at Shea Stadium on Tuesday. I got there a little early so I took some pictures around the stadium.
The bowels of Shea – can’t wait for the new stadium.
